Châtelet at Home | Beth's Living Room
I often help my customer's select the finishing touches for their homes like window treatments, area rugs, lighting, and accessories to make the look complete. For Beth's home, a few Châtelet pieces and some soft furnishings were all that were needed.
The first room to go down was her much used family room. I added a sofa table and bold damask print curtains to the window wall and a creamy shag rug to centre her sofas and coffee table on.
Beth had a long time fantasy of creating an installation of vintage mirrors on the large wall behind one of the sofas. I was able to make that fantasy a reality by hanging up a grouping of 14 mirrors and frames and I don’t mind saying that the result is pretty spectacular!
The pair of bird table lamps from Chatelet perch nicely on a pair of teal painted faux bamboo side tables pulled from the Chatelet warehouse.
I topped this rustic bench, a favorite of Beth’s, with a feather seat cushion and pillows to provide some more cozy seating in the room. She was so pleased to finally have the first of the many rooms in her house officially finished that she booked me to do her dining room next.
