What our customers are saying
This shop is a definite find. If English cottage and French provincial is your design sensibility, you will LOVE this place. There are both finished and unfinished pieces, which you can have upholstered or painted to your taste. The quality of the refinishing of antique pieces is exceptional, and the bespoke upholstery that Teresa did on the chairs I bought there was outstanding. Great customer service, fast turnaround, I have nothing but great things to say.
LINDA HILLS
Since 2020, Châtelet is my favourite go-to place for well curated French furniture and decor items. Teresa selects really unique pieces. Also, the furniture reupholstering and refinishing service is top notch!
ALAIN COULOMBE
In a recent internet search I was fortunate to find Teresa’s store. I’ve been collecting French furniture for a number of years and was looking to add to a particular room. I found a beautiful barrel back canapé in carved walnut with Aubusson fabric. The online purchase was seamless and Teresa delivered the piece to me a couple of days later. This experience was the very best and I’m anxious to return.
GARY SIMKINS

SALLY SMALLWOOD
The last item I bought was a beautiful yellow shelf for my guest room. Awesome service and beautiful pieces! I have been shopping with them for years!
